How long does it take to receive a proposal or design?

If no design is required, the initial bid will be sent 24-48hrs after your consultation with a team member. If a custom design is required please allow a 7-10 day business turnaround time from the initial  consultation date.

What are the next steps after we sign a contract?

First off, we would like to thank you for trusting Southern with your project and we look forward to creating an outdoor space you enjoy.

Step 1.  After all details are finalized, we send a Docusign agreement within 24hrs which will include all the project details &  project start date/timeline outlined in the proposal.

Step 2.  Once the Docusign is completed, we then send an electronic deposit link to secure your project on the schedule.

Step 3.  During the time period leading up to your project start date, a team member will be in contact with you to let you know of any possible schedule changes. Sometimes inclement weather does delay our projects a few days. If that is the case, we will be in touch right away letting you know of the schedule change.

Can you all build a project if I already have a professional design?

Yes, we can! Sometimes our clients bring us designs from their preferred landscape architect or interior designer and we are more than happy to bring them to life. We still need to schedule a consultation to perform a site walk and discuss your overall vision.

Do you offer warranties?

Yes, without a doubt. We are extremely confident in our quality so much so that you receive best in class warranties with each service. You can learn more about specific warranties on each specific service page.

How long does it take to build my project?

It varies by the project scope. Typically, smaller landscape projects take anywhere from 2-5 days, medium sized projects are anywhere between 4-10 days, and larger scale projects range from 10-30+ days. Please keep in mind that every project is different and can vary depending on the scope. If permits are needed for my project, who will have to obtain them?

As a full service exterior design & build firm, we will handle all permitting if it is needed for your specific project. Permit requirements do vary from City to City and we will perform our due diligence to make sure your project is within local regulations.

Do you offer maintenance after the installation is complete?

Accepted Answer

If we completed a landscape installation we will periodically check in the make sure the everything is thriving! On the other hand, we will recommend a highly referred maintenance provider for the turf care, pruning, fertilization, and garden management.
